Clinical Focus Report – Hospital Associated Venous Thromboembolism

Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality, with hospitalisation being a major risk factor. This report summarises findings from the data review and provides recommendations for health managers and clinicians to improve VTE prevention in NSW public hospitals.
