CEC Consumer Advisors
The NSW Clinical Excellence Commission is looking for consumers with an interest in patient safety and quality of health care to join committees and project groups that are working to make healthcare better and safer in NSW.
The CEC is a board-governed statutory health corporation whose CEO reports directly to the NSW Minister for Health.
Volunteer
Duration
Successful applicants will be appointed to a consumer panel for a period of 12 months with the potential for re-appointment for a further 12 months.
Reimbursement
Reasonable expenses that are incurred to enable participation will be reimbursed.
Outreach
Consumers from rural or remote regions will be enabled to participate by teleconference or videoconference.
