Life Saving Drugs Register

Access the Life Saving Drugs Register

The Life Saving Drugs Register (LSDR) provides indicative stock holding information of life saving drugs (including antivenoms and antidotes) in hospitals, their location within the hospital and hospital contact details so that this information can be shared with other hospitals within NSW.

In October 2023, the CEC launched an enhanced LSDR and made it available in an online platform, updated daily in near real-time.

Downtime

In the event of a downtime, please contact CEC-LSDR@health.nsw.gov.au for an offline copy of the LSDR.

Expert Advisory Group

The Clinical Excellence Commission is establishing a Life Saving Drugs Expert Advisory Group (EAG) to provide advice to the CEC on future enhancements to the Life Saving Drugs Register online solution and develop strategies to improve access to these medicines across the state. The EAG will be formed in 2024.

Acknowledgement

NSW Therapeutics Advisory Group (TAG) developed, hosted and supported the NSW Life Saving Drug Register (LSDR) from 1999 to 2023. NSW Health acknowledges and appreciates NSW TAG's contribution to quality use of medicines in NSW hospitals and the wider community.
