Andrea is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand. She has completed a fellowship in Safety and Quality with the International Society for Quality in Health Care and is the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS) paediatric representative for Safety and Quality.

She is dual trained in emergency medicine and critical care and is currently the medical co-director and lead for Quality and Safety in the PICU at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Andrea is interested in facilitating the improvement in quality and safety in healthcare through networking and collaboration. Her areas of interest include resuscitation science, simulation-based education and organ and tissue donation.

David was Head of the Centre for Strategic Leadership with the National School of Government, UK (Cabinet Office), Director of the Prime Minister's Top Management Program and Lead for Clinical Leadership at St Bartholomew's Hospital and the London NHS Trust.

Prior to HETI, David was Director of Leadership and Talent Management with the Australian Public Service Commission and Director of Design Policy with the Commonwealth Department of Human Services.

David has an MA from the University of Cambridge and has completed the European Health Leadership program at INSEAD (Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires).

Her current areas of focus include transformation of the emergency department workforce, improving care of people with mental health symptoms, building positive culture in hospitals, and fostering diversity and inclusion in health services.

Clare works as a clinician, clinical manager and educator. She is a frequent contributor to academic journals, mainstream media and medical blogs on topics related to hospital practice and culture. Clare is a regular speaker at Emergency Medicine and leadership conferences and seminars. She was selected in the Top 50 Public Sector Women NSW in 2018.

He is passionate about emergency medicine, quality and safety in medicine, and being kind to each other.

Currently he is the deputy director or Royal Prince Alfred ED, where he is the quality lead, and deputy director of Sydney Local Health District's WellMD centre. He is also a NSW Wellbeing champion for the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.

Not surprisingly, he has an interest in both systems-thinking and adverse events. Diving into the safety science literature, he's realised that a safe system is not one where people don't make mistakes (that's just not possible), it's one that sets its staff up for both success and recovery from error.

Dr Turner led the implementation of the Zero Suicide framework in her previous service, the Gold Coast Mental Health and Specialist Services which demonstrated significant positive outcomes of this work. Dr Turner implemented a Restorative Just Culture framework into the service, providing support for consumers, carers, clinicians and the organization to heal, learn and improve following the loss of a consumer to suicide.

In 2018, she was awarded the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists Margaret Tobin Award for administrative psychiatry.

He has been an Area Director and Clinical Director of mental health services. Nick has had a long interest in clinical governance and improving patient safety particularly as these affect the relational and social systems within and beyond health organisations.
