Examples of CEC education programs and offerings embedded with Human Factors include The Applied Safety and Quality Program, Between the Flags and Perinatal Safety Education. A commitment of the CEC is to embed Human Factors into all our programs.

The Applied Safety and Quality Program

Pathways

Human factors is one of the Tenets of Safety and Quality across the Applied Safety and Quality Program with two sessions specifically dedicated to human factors. These are modules 1 and 3.

Perinatal Safety Education

The Perinatal Safety Education modules include how to recognise the impact of human factors and identify strategies to improve care and reduce adverse outcomes. The modules are available in My Health Learning and only for NSW Health staff.
