Consumer Council

In June 2018, in collaboration with the Agency for Clinical Innovation, the Clinical Excellence Commission established a joint Consumer Council to create a stronger consumer voice for safety, quality and innovation in NSW health.

The council is made up of a range of people who have experienced healthcare either as a patient, carer or family member and are keen to contribute to improvements.

The council members will draw on personal experiences to explore and problem solve ways of improving both the delivery of healthcare and patient experience.
